Your Data Stays Yours

• Session recordings, transcripts, and notes belong to you and your clients
• We do not use your session content to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model
• Your data is never sold, licensed, or shared for commercial purposes beyond providing the service

Human Oversight

• AI-generated notes are drafts — the clinician reviews, edits, and signs every note
• TherapyScribe does not make clinical decisions; it documents what the clinician decides
• You are always the clinician of record

Transparency

• We use third-party AI models (language models and transcription) under HIPAA-eligible agreements
• We do not obscure what is AI-generated vs. human-written
• When our AI capabilities change materially, we communicate that to users

Privacy by Design

• Minimum necessary data: we collect only what's needed to provide the service
• Session audio is deleted after transcription is complete
• We do not build behavioral profiles of your clients

No Dark Patterns

• We will never use PHI to retarget, advertise to, or profile your clients
• We will never make it hard to export your data or close your account
• Our business model is subscription revenue — not data
